I'm sure people use these subs ALL THE TIME for 'daily beats'. I'm also sure guys use them for comps as well. So, IMO, it really depends on what you're looking to accomplish.
Just b/c one guy says they're "comp" subs only DOES NOT make them "comp" subs ONLY. I'd classify them as an SPL sub over a SQ type sub.
I would agree that they're made to be LOUD and listening to rock music or metal, IMO, won't get you that LOUD bass that lots of people like.
I had a Lanzar opti 6000d amp that I was going to push these two 10's with, and so these subs can handle a LOT of f*ckin' power. And with enough power, I'm sure some rock/metal songs would sound great.
These MUST be SOLD soon!! I'm leaving for vacation July 22, and my plan is to have this money in my pocket to "play" with.
