Amp wiring (safe?)

HOPE I PUT THIS THREAD IN THE RIGHT AREA BUT IF NOT MY BAD
I just recently bought a amp from this dude,that was selling it for dirt cheap and when i went 2 take a look at it, he had the amp wired positive and positive and same with negative 2 negative to the sub. is that a good idea to be wired like that? (as seen in the picture below)

amp is a RF p600bd1 going 2 a psi 15 wired down to 1 ohm amp can only give 2 ohm when he had it hooked up

There's no "bridgeable" or "non-bridgeable" on a mono amp, it's just one channel- there's nothing to bridge. That amp has the two sets of outputs paralleled anyway, it only has two sets of connections for ease of wiring in some cases. You can hook just one side up, or keep it as shown, either way is fine.
