i need a relay for amp turn ons....but i want a relay that has low turn on ampreage (1-150Mv). reason being if you get a big 40 amp relay it kinda defeats the purpose of doing it, as it pulls as many amps to turn it on as it does to turn 4 amps on. i've looked but cant find a small relay like im looking for. any help?
Wrong. The relay only requires a small current to pull closed. <500mA but the contacts will handle 40A.
Just get a standard Bosch relay and you will be fine.
distro? ?distributor block? the relay will burn up if the fuse is too big and it shorts out, the coil will just burn up, but won't draw enough current to blow a fuse over 10 amps i'm sure.
i had done the relay thingy before but its weird that on some notes it would turn off, i added a little shitty capacitor inline and it worked fine. aaand then after a while i changed it and the turn-off-note thing stopped.
Sounds like a bad connection or sub par electrical may have been the problem.
