i need a relay for amp turn ons....but i want a relay that has low turn on ampreage (1-150Mv). reason being if you get a big 40 amp relay it kinda defeats the purpose of doing it, as it pulls as many amps to turn it on as it does to turn 4 amps on. i've looked but cant find a small relay like im looking for. any help?

Wrong. The relay only requires a small current to pull closed. <500mA but the contacts will handle 40A.
Just get a standard Bosch relay and you will be fine.

The fuse goes after the distro. Like suggested a simple 10A blade fuse will be sufficient. That will protect any equipment powered by the relay.

i had done the relay thingy before but its weird that on some notes it would turn off, i added a little shitty capacitor inline and it worked fine. aaand then after a while i changed it and the turn-off-note thing stopped.
