Today I wasn't beating my sub but it was up and it hit this funny note that goes down lowww and comes back real fast high or vice versa... Anyways right after that I didn't hear a pop or bang or anything but I did hear like my back dash is moving around, but it's my sub it's like a finger nail hitting the dust cap... I can hold it in or even push a piece of surround and it doesn't do it. I'm guessing tinsel slap? Sucksi haven't even had it that long and idont even beat on it. I thought my lvl5 15 could take waaaaay more. :sad5:
Haha I talked to rusty I pmed him but no response yet. Yup ha right in this little town I don't compete just try to be loud. I'd like to check a comp out though!
i had same problem with lvl 4 xl 12, never could fix it, i tried felt, i tried velcro, nothing worked for me so i ended up just selling it after i JUST ordered the sub a few months prior. needless to say i had to step it up to 4hp motors w/ 4" voice coils.
the spider has come loose? use some ca glue... almost looks like the spider is a lil smaller than the landing as well.. is it stock or a rebuild?
