Four DC Power 270XP alternators, designed for a quad alt install. (That means only one alt has an OEM plug, the rest have special plugs that fit an included excitation harness.) The alts are powder-coated cherry metallic red, a color which matched the 2011 Tahoe LT this came off of. These alts are appropriate for many GM engines, see the DC Power fitment page below.
A quad-alt bracket with 5 pulleys. I know this fits the 2011 Tahoe 5.3L but the DC Power page claims it also fits "1999-2013 GM Vortec 4.8, 5.3, 6.0, 6.2 V8 GM".
A wiring harness that externally regulates three of the alts. It draws power from a fusebox connection. (You can easily hook it into the fusebox with some extra wire and a fuse piggyback adapter from Amazon.)
Necessary bolts, nuts, etc. I believe I have everything here. There may be an odd nut or washer missing, if so, they can easily be found at your local hardware store (nothing exotic here.)
New K061360HD serpentine belt (I had a spare).
There are no formal installation instructions from DC Power, but I'll provide my own pictures of what this looks like installed. I'll also provide tech support (what wires go where, etc.) It's not a difficult install for those familiar with automotive alternators, it's for the most part obvious and common-sensical what has to go where.
I suggest wiring the OEM-position alt to the main car battery and the three other alts to a separate battery bank that only powers your sub amps. You will need lots of 0-gauge wiring.
The 2011 Tahoe these came off of had only 35k miles. They work great and were never pushed hard that often. Each alt has a few small nicks/scratches in the paint, most which I hid well with some matching touchup paint. (If you're looking for a flawless showroom setup here, go buy new.)
$1000 shipped, less than half of what the same setup will cost you new. (Plus you don't have to wait months for everything to be built.) $850 if you pickup locally in the San Jose area.
(Feel free to contact DC Power with fitment questions, I will not accept returns due to fitment issues.)
