View Full Version : LMS 12 Recones for orangelss -

He sent me baskets, coils, and spacers. I covered the cones, caps, spiders, and asssembly.

I EXPECT YOU to post some good pics when they come in, and when you get them playing!

They have dual spaced 10" spiders, sewn leads, white honeycomb cones, cone strengthening rings, and poly caps.

I have a grip load of 10" spiders on the way... TC recones all day. ;)

The high roll rubber surrounds are so damned hot!

I'm loving the cones.

Makes me wish I had some subs that needed recones :sad5:

Well I only have 1 more. :(

You guys and these high roll rubber surrounds... they dont work as well as a half roll, and they rip loose a lot. AAAAAAahhhh.......

I'm almost positive that they're 3" coils.

They are undoubtedly SEXY.

I/we tried so hard to get a decent high roll going.... for years guys. It just doesnt work as well. Compliance is very non-linear. Seems weird that TC used them on the subs with the VERY linear motor technology.

But they are SEXY, especially in white, and I doubt any of us would ever "hear" a difference I guess.

I can cut my 10x3's to run as a 10x4.:) They work VERY well.

Oh.... Got some nice 4x8 spiders coming soon. Maybe I can make a decent Destroyer for someone one day! :)

Do they make those cones in 18"s? :D and The recone we talked about is probably changing. Im on the lookout for a standard 10" basket

I can't wait. Like a kid waiting for Christmas. Will more than likly cut myself opening them up. Put a order in for a Sundown 2000d to massage them. Didn't think the 1500d would be enough.
