Power- 3000 each
Goal- SPL but still low (current box is tuned to 30)
Box type- Ported or Bandpass
Sub/port direction: Sub up, port back?
Max dimensions: 41" Wide, 33" Deep, 25" Tall (shorter is better as 25" is past the middle of the window
Desired NET vol and tuning: Whatever works the best

Additional comments I'm thinking probably 1.5" thick all around, maybe more for the baffle?

I could get you a design but it'd be later tonight. And I couldnt be happier with my 12.75 cubes net @ 30.5Hz with 200 sq inches of port with my pair

'Horn'-wall: 12.75 cubes net, ~25Hz tuning, 200 sq inches of port area (lowz..?)

that's almost exactly what mine is right now. Right now it's 12.6 net tuned to 30 w/ 207 inches of port. It's also more than halfway up my window, so I'd like to go a little shorter if I could. I love how it is, but I'm gonna have a lot more power than I have now once I get some batteries. Plus, I just came up with the design on RE Box builder so it's probably way off from what it should be? I was thinking smaller maybe? Or using aero ports? I don't really know.

It's hard to make a final design just using RE's calculator because you'll probably want it to have at least a double-baffle going on and maybe even triple-up the face of the enclosure along with supports and the sub displacement.

I'll try and get back to you tonight

Bump
I'd like to use a single 12" aeroport if that'd work somehow

It can be done if you can find the materials.

there is a guy on CA.com about to start slinging them.

I've found a couple places that sell "bell mouths" that should work and I'd probably use concrete forming tubes for the actual port part.

yeah i had planned on going that route for an 8, but if i can get i out of 1/4 PVC then thats the way that ill go.

only bad thing about the sonotubes is that they all arent the same size....some 8's are 7.5 some are 8.5.
