Default Sundown Audio in a Chevy Tracker

Well originally we had 2 SA-12s on an SAZ-1500D. It was nice and sounded damn good but as usual we wanted to get more out of it. So....here we go lol

New equipment is a Sundown Audio X-15 prototype woofer. Still powering it is the SAZ-1500. Hope it sounds good. Onto the pics!

The sub:

This sub is a complete monster. It is the "X" series prototype motor Jacob has been working on that will be going between the SA and Z series woofers. Triple stack with a 3" coil. Everything else I believe are NSv1 parts. Basket, softparts etc.

Amp Rack

Enclosure: 3.4 cubes at 33hz

Thats all I got for now. Im hoping to get it finished and playing tomorrow. We have a pretty busy day so it may get done during the week. Stay Tuned!!

From 2-12's to 1-15" on same power, wouldn't it be lower (like not as loud as the 2-12's)?

I am hoping not. If anything I hope its around the same. Worst case scenario we sell the 1500 and get a 2500 lol

you should have put the 2500 on the two 12",i see guys put up to 4x the rated power on them and they take it and laugh, with increased output of course.the 15" is gonna be loud but not as loud as the two 12",plus the 12" has more cone area.

After you get past a certain point the added power does nothing but create extra stress and heat.

The 12"s only have 22% more cone area, which the correct box will easily make up for if the SA's were in a less then perfect box
