Default Time for the rebuild in the Avalanche!

Well, the time has come for the new build in my Avalanche. I will get some pics up later on, but here is a rundown of whatis going in the truck.

2002 Chevy Avalanche, Sunset Orange Metallic on 24's
JVC Headunit

front stage is 8 Crescendo CTS-1 tweeters in the A pillars, made by Epicenter Designs

and 8 Selenium 6wp4 in the front doors done by Epicenter Designs

Tweeter amp is a Crescendo Audio 1000c4
Mids amp is a Crescendo Audio 1600.2

Processing will be done by a Rockford Fosgate 3sixty.2

Subs are 2 RE Audio MT 15 inch subs, dual 1.4 ohm coils. These will be fed by a SounDigital SD16kd, at 5.6 ohms daily, and 1.4 for competitions.

Box will be a ported enclosure tuned to 30-31 Hz dailt, and 45 Hz for comps. Box is birch made, with port plug, and about 9 cubes after displacements.

Electrical is Shok wiring, with RCA's and a DC Power 270xp dual alt kit charging 4(soon to be 10) RPS 110 Ah batts.

Subs will be reconed sooned with DC Level 5 recones, until the new Level 5's come out, and will be switching to them then.
Goal is a 150 on music, and major hair tricks.

Any comments, suggestions, recommendations, are appreciated. Can't wait to get my panels back from Epicenter and get this tine done!

But, just to update where this is currently at, some things have changed. Here is the new layout:

Front doors will now hold 8 Crescendo Audio MP6's, being fed by the 1600.2

Pillars are done, and in the truck, these are being fed by the new Crescendo Audio 1100.4

Doors are done, and will be back in the truck in a few days.

Ordered DC Audio Level 5 recones for the MT's. They were tired, and got them beefed up for the 16kd. Recones will be here tomorrow.

I will post all the pics of everything done so far, but I am still working on the enclosure, but a huge THANKS to Crescendo Audio, Navid, and Jon aka Epicenter Designs for all their hard work, support, and their products!

Some more updates! Build is about done, just need to clean up wiring, bed line the box, and organize some stuff. But wants to throw some pics up to keep people updated. Running the SounDigital at 4 ohms daily now, and it slams. Did test at 1 ohms, which will be for compeitions, and thought the windshield may let go. Can't run like that daily though, as my voltage was dropping.
