more pics to come as money trickles in and new idea's form.
the platform is a 94 suburban k-1500 with a 6inch lift on 34's with 4.88 gears, a heavy duty rebuild of the 4l60e tranny, all new suspension, and about 200lbs of reinforcements to the front suspension. everything has been rebuilt or replaced but the engine with over 200k on it. it will get a new power plant this spring. its to cold atm to do it. im allergic to the cold
. im currently working out weather i want to add 2 sdc2.5 10's or 1 hdc3 10 along with 2-4 more aq pro 6.5's. 2 more batts are still to be added along with some more insulation work and darkening of the rear windows tint. the 2nd row seat might also be getting replaced with two captain chairs. a front mount and rear mount camera, 7inch display and recorder will be installed once the weather breaks aswell.
lol btw this suburban does not have rear defroster. some good freezing weather has already come and i found out that the 2 top ports on the sub box that so happen to fire into the barn door windows work as good rear window defrosters
the subs are AQ hdc3 12d1's. each wired series on itself and all wired parallel.
front door speakers: 2 aq pro 6.5's and 2 boston acoustic sr50 pro tweeters per door. i got 1 set of tweeters without housings so i modded an old jl tweeter house to hold them.
rear door speakers: powerbass 4xl 6.5 extreme duty. very impressive sounding, look great but cant beat the aq 6.5's money vs sound.
power blocks that i built
amps: 1 planet audio bb first gen 150.2(running front door speakers), 2 planet audio bb first gen 75.2's(running rear door speaker), 1 diablo prototype amp. not sure how much power its running. i havent clamped it yet. its hooked up to the 3 hdc3 12's at a .89ohm load beating the sh_t out of them.
future plans for the amps are to replace the planet audio amps with new AQ amps. if the new amps ever get released.
