Default 2004 Audi TT convertible build!

Ok one of my client that I had did a build in her 2007 Charger introduced me to her boss. After he saw what I did to her trunk he decided to do something with his 2004 Audi. We eventually meet up and talk about the installs. Keep in mind this is a hella small vehicle, even tho I'm skinny I barely can't crawl in this sucker! Anyways he already brought some of the stuff before we even talked.

The car 2004 Audi TT convertible..

The stuff that's going on this Audi.. Rockford Fosgate Prime series shallow 12" sub, Kicker DS series 6.5 comp set for the doors, Kicker KS series 5.25" for back panel custom speaker plate, Planet Audio AC1800.5 (around 1100-1200ish rms watts), and a newer version Sony DSX-S200X deck.

Here is his old Sony deck, talking about old!

Took all the back panels off, here is the factory Bose sub location. Those factory sub brackets will be cut off to make room for the 12" shallow mount box.

Marked with masking tape getting ready to cut.

Factory sub gone and brackets are cut off.

Got the box build and will be cover in black carpet. Oh yeah forgot to mention it's sealed of course . Well that's all for tonight since it's getting late (1:30am LOL). I'll update some more tomorrow on what I have done. BTW the owner said I can keep the car for a week so I'm not rushing to finish it. I have to make it sound clean and looks nice as well because I'm getting paid for doing it! But hey we all gotta to have side jobs of course! I do work but car audio stuff is a hobby and side jobs for me..

Doors crossover in the kicks.

Mid and tweet mounted on the door panel.

Test fitting the sub sealed enclosure with the sub mounted in for clearance.

Wires are ran throughout the vehicle.

Sub enclosure are wrapped in black carpet.

Made some rear mount for the 5.25" also wrapped in black carpet and mounted on sub enclosure.

Amp are hook up and running.

Made a couple of back panel where the back storage for a first aid kit use to be. I didn't want to cut the original factory panels so I just make them. Also wrapped in grey carpet and put some mesh net. Looks pretty decent and sounded awesome through the mesh if you ask me. =) Other then that I'm done with it! Pheeww... Customer came to the house pick it up sound tested and a smile on his face which I'm glad he like it. I got paid, he left and have something to play with down the road.
