Default Loudest Chrysler Crossfire In the WORLD.

I been out of the game for awhile, started getting drawn into other hobbies and quickly faded out of them and kept resorting back to watching my old youtube videos, they were never anything special or crazy but they aided in my missing of car audio and well...whats a better time now? got a new car, its small, its a hatch and i havent done a hatch build. But i dont really think of this as a build as much as other threads are on the site. I think of it more as my partial introduction back to the audio scene. So enough bullshitting you ugys want the good!. I sold my old Cadence CVL8 when i had to because of a ticket, niether here nor there. Ended up getting ahold of the kid i sold them to, he wanted to sell them! he said they were to loud. Bought them back for less than i sold them to him for ha. AWESOME! Ended up buying all 4 back and the box i had built for them which was 2.8 cf with 3 4" areo tuned to 30hz. I loved it in my jetta on a MBQuart Discuss 2000.1. But since i have a warranty on this car i dont really want to burn the alternator up or add batterys for weight. So its going to be off 800-1200 RMS. Each Cadence 8 is single 4ohm so having all 3 will bring me down somewhere between 1.5-2 (right?) so if i get a amp that does 1200 @1ohm i can get about 950ish to the 3 which will be more than enough in the car. im going to be using the same box but instead of 4" areo's since they were stupid long im using 2" areo's and using 3 of them, not sure which direction i am going to be firing them, drivers side or passenger since there isnt enough room to have them firing to the rear and be in the box which they box JUST fits into the joke of a trunk i have so side firing it is. going ot be using 3 and leaving them the uncut length so 11" of useable port which will bring me to right around 28.5hz for the tune which will be the bees muh****ing knees! i had them at 30hz and they were getting low so this will be awesome! and luckily if i dont like it i just cut a lil off ea of them and it will bring the tuning up. Enough is enough here are some pics of the car, the subs, and a video of it in the old car. Hoping to be the loudest crossfire in the world, since only old men and women drive the cars.

Bad ass ride, bro. And I love me some 8's. Should be sweet. But you realize that (3) 2" aeros is only like 9sq in of port, right? Prob be better off with a single 4" or maybe a pair of 3's? Perhaps a slot would be the way to go. Small boxes are a pain to tune with aeros (as evidenced by those organ pipes you had in the last build. lol).

even with a single 4 its somehow coming out to be oddly long. i want to keep all the port in the box, and its been awhile since ive looked into extending ports so i wouldnt know the first thing, ill try the port for now if worse comes to worse, ill take them out maybe throw all the power to 1 8" since i built a box for just one and throw it on whatever power i can give it and just see whats more efficient and loudest in the car

Well, first... give up on the 28hz tune. Lol. You really don't need to tune that low. And second... just do a nice slot.

if you want to get really loud, don't tune so low (in most cases)

He's saying don't tune so low so your ports aren't so long. Also if you want to be the loudest crossfire, tuning higher would help. Good luck.

i would do 30hz at the lowest, you really need to research your cabin gain, you might be tuned lower than you think.
