Default scion tc - pair of sa8v2s

Got the subs in from jacob friday, couldnt wait to get them installed.

Had the box almost completed when they arrived, so I just had a few things to finish up before dropping them in.

The completed box will be a 6th order for them, but I ran out of mdf before finishing up the top panel and decided to just build the bottom half and run it ported until I come across more mdf at work.

specs are roughly 1.3 @ 30 hz, 20sq in of port
running on a bxi1210d @ 1 ohm. hopefully upgrading the amp...thinking saz 1500 and another sub to run at .66. should get down real nice in a hatchback

onto the subs and box:

"1200" watts at 1 ohm, probably seeing a little less since I don't think the bxi line is doing rated on my voltage, I see 13.8/13.9 tops

I like them a lot right now, they are just about as loud as my si mag 12 was at that metered at 138 @ 34 hz. pretty good for a pair of 8s that arent even broken in yet

I ran a 20-60 sweep this afternoon and the deep stuff is very, very impressive. I'm sure a lot of that has to do with the deep tuning, but certainly not all of it. These subs are keepers.
