Well we have tried 2 box's in the vehicle already with this setup, & a wall.
The first thing we did was wall it & it was a total flop. Me & a buddy said it was going to be because of the subs having a narrow loading chamber from front to back. Just built it because the guy paid us to & then we got to rub it in his face when it was a flop lol.
The next box we did was sub up port up in the middle & plays loud, loud & clear. That box did a 146 sealed on the dash with a crapscendo 5500. Then we hooked up 2 of the Crossfire BMF1700's strapped on the pair of tsns's & it was a night & day difference. We jumped 2 db just by doing an amp swap out lol.
We built another box last night & now it is subs forward port firing up in the middle. That box ended up doing a 149.1 sealed on the dash, 153.2 in the kick. Peak freq on the dash was 42hz & in the kick was 47hz. It plays good on music, but doesn't get that feeling it did with the sub up port up box. It does get violent with the passenger door closed with window up & drivers door open though. The next enclosure design we are going to try is sub forward port firing up along the back, & and also sub up port up with port firing up on the drivers side.
I will add a pic of the enclosure we have in there now later today, just got a ton of family stuff that is going on today lol...
