I bet they are!

They wouldve really helped me when I built my last box. Seemed like I would screw 2 pieces together, let em dry.. then realize later it wasnt even a 90 degree angle! lol

Gotta love that people are still using MDF. Guess the weight difference isn't worth the extra dough (or cheaper price depending on who you buy from)

Ya what's the point in buying a 70 dollar sheet of birch for a box that wouldn't even use half the sheet and with the box being under 2 cubes weight isn't a real concern

$70? LMAO either you're getting ripped off or you are ripping people off with exaggerated material costs. I get sheets of birch for $23.50. At that price (that you get as a legitimate business) I'd never buy a sheet of mdf ever again.

And yes a single 10 box would have a weight difference, ESPECIALLY SINCE IT'S BEING SHIPPED!

here is why i would use MDF over birch, its much easier to get intricate designs and shapes out of due to no splintering like birch. yeah birch is lighter, looks nice etc. but when a customer wants a box painted all sexy, mdf is the way to go.

That's not "birch"

I guess I'm the only one left on the forum that prefers using mdf over ply
