Default Custom 2004 Honda Accord Double Din Install

I had a friend come to me that wanted to put a double din in the lower pocket of his 2004 Honda Accord. Luckily for me they only make a single Din kit. A couple companies make double din kits, but they look mediocre at best. Custom Fab time commenced.

Had to Cut up the bracket, super glue and goop the trim ring to the face of the dash kit.

Then glued the mounting flap things of the radio to the back of the kit.

Continued with filling in the rest of the dash kit on the bottom where it curved down with the plastic I had cut out.

Filled it all with bondo and let the hand sanding begin. probably a good hour and a half of sanding.

Then I wanted to jump on the Plasti Dip bandwagon. Turned out perfect, the customer is very happy, seeing as the next shop wanted $300 to do it and needed 2 weeks to do it.

Thanks, it was a lot of work to get it made and installed. The customer was great to work with through the whole process, which made it a lot easier.

that stuff is a waste. I use some $13 a gallon lightweight filler.

Milkshake is your best friend.
