Default '95 ranger build... nuffsaid!

Finally got started on my ranger. I've had the truck for about 2 years. So, I've had plenty of time to build this thing in my head, tare it apart, redesign it, and build it again.

Kinda in a time crunch now. Trying to have it done for Scrapping the Coast, coming up in June.
I'm not just doing a system, I'm also doing a good bit of work to the truck itself.

This is what I'm starting with...

Some parts...

This is where it got me, 3/5 drop, for now anyway...

Starting on the interior...

The bad azz system I had before...

Coming out...

Painting the interior plastic...

On to the rest!!!

Equipment:
2x brz 2100.1
2x zxi 200.2
2x AB xfl 1222
still working on the front stage, but I've got something in the works

amps and batts going in the tool box...

Thats about where I'm at now
Stay tuned. There's more to come soon

Got the interior completely out. Changed out the heater core while I was in there. (Even in the south it can get cold in the winter)

My little helper checking out the progress.

Dash going back in, slicked out, it's a Ford factory color "royal blue". The interior is going to be black with some accent pieces the same as the dash.

White face gauge cluster out of a Sport Trac

I've been working a ton of overtime, but hopefully I'll get a good bit done next week. I took vacation just to work on my damn truck.
I have almost everything I need to finish it up I think, just got to get to work.
I'll try to post up some equipment pics within the next few days.

Just one small piece of a full deadening solution. Big thanks to Don Sambrook for a top quality product...

A little update...

I ordered a few boxes of CLD tiles from "Sound Deadening Showdown". I went with his formula for 25% coverage, then added some. I definitely don't have the 100% or even 200% coverage that I see a lot of guys on here doing. I went with a trusted and tested deadening solution and I'm gonna call that good enough yo!

Some sound deadening on the roof. Just slightly more than 25% coverage... oh, some "great stuff" just for GP

More sound deadening. The tan on the floor is CCF and the black on the back wall is MLV.

Test fitting the center console from a '98 Explorer. Shit looks gooood!! Gonna look even better when its painted to match the dash!

Running some RCA's. Finally some damn wires going in!!

Carpets in...

Pay no attention to the factory 6x9's, they too shall be removed soon

Headliner is in...

More to come real soon. I should be able to start running wires tomorrow, get the toolbox in with the amps and batteries, and finish getting the trim panels in the cab.... Maybe seats that's probably a dream tho.

Sure would like to start on the box by Saturday.

Stay tuned

Looks real nice. My 2 cents. From exoerience those tool box's get real hot in the summer from the heat and the sun so i would paint the interior of the tool box. prime it white then use the rubberized out door paint they mostly come grey but you can find white. It helps keep the temp down.
