what's the baffle going to be made of? fiberglass or plexi?

or something else? 0.o

edit: IMO you should get a hole saw and cut mounting holes for the tweeters in the plastic.

Those are the rear tweets so I wanted them to point toward the front. only reason why I didn't flush them. When you say baffle you mean the port if so its a flared 4" port.

the baffle is the front piece of the box - the piece you mount the woofer on.

it's obviously curved, so I'm guessing you're making it out of something other than wood. the obvious choice is fiberglass, but I've seen curved plexi before.

also, you can get adjustable cups for the tweeters so they angle toward the front while they're flush mounted.

as a matter of fact... if I'm not mistaken, I think somebody's selling a set of those cups on this very site somewhere

edit: I just saw the text above the picture... it was tiny and I didn't notice it /facepalm

fiberglass it is! what color? =)

Gotcha the baffle is going to be Fiberglass. and the rear tweet might see some fiberglass too. I had to do this install and a few hours and pick up my girl at work. Couldn't take my time on it. So a few of the things are just temperearly setup till I get time to work on it.

if it was anyone besides nizzy i would agree. but he gave you the benefit of the doubt and only gave you a 5 pter when it should be considered a perma ban. nizzy isnt a nazi mod, hes one of the laid back ones. although i do not support all of the staffs decisions this is one staff that i do support 100%. just let it go and move on. it will expire
