Default 01 BMW 3 series Tantric build

Alright, the slot ported box I originally designed for 2 sa-12's is demolished and the trunk is empty and rear seat is out. New box is designed and will be built tomorrow. My profile has some before pictures in it. I'll get some current ones tonight and take some tomorrow during the build. Still won't be "finished" tomorrow but should be up and running just not pretty yet. The Tantric HD's sounded great in the old box but they needed a bit more leg room and I wanted some face time with them without having to go open the trunk. Kind of a teaser at the moment without any pics but I'll slam some up in a bit. Waiting on the Tantric 2k amps to get released so it won't be exactly as planned till that happens and mine shows up. Looking for the right carpet currently and hope to revamp the front stage and replace the HU before it starts getting chilly.

Not concearned about winning at comps... just want respectable numbers out of the trunk. And there was an e46 that offered fold down rear seats... all you have to do is put them in with the factory correct brackets and cut it out. Just because your specific vin does t have an option doesn't mean that you are screwed. You must not have made your case very well when you tried to compete in meca

I would cut out all that metal and reinforce it around the edges.

The metal isn't structural. The only purpose for it is to isolate road noise in the trunk from entering the cabin area. There was about an inch thick sound deadening overlayment that I already removed. The m3 coupes have way more power and this metal isnt there in them because they weren't as concerned about road noise in the sports model... the m3 coupe seats will bolt right in maintaining the rules of meca. I would essentially be doing a seat swap and removing that metal piece is required for the factory fold down BMW 3 series seats to to go in.

Ya I was just thinking my buddy has an 01 330CI and has fold down rear seats. I just built a box for him for 2 10s recently.
