Default Amp Rack! Plexi, Plasti dip, Ampere Audio

Been wanting to build this amp rack for a little bit and finally got to it today. I didn't get many pics during the build since my phone died but I got one and then the finished product! Hope ya'll like it!

are you plasti diping some wood that looks to be birch? Hows that working out for you? I am thinking about doing the same thing (plasti-dipping Birch) & was wondering if there was any kind of prep that needed to be done to the material before plasti-dipping it. Your bulild looks nice can't wait to see how it turns out.

I did plastidip birch. I wish I would have used a primer before I applied the plastidip. On the parts I used bondo to fill the screw holes the plasti took much better. I had to coat this thing about 8 times to finally get the look I was after. I think either a few coats of primer or bondo on the whole thing will work best. I think I will end up rhino lining this and my box. The plasti is cool but doesn't come out like you would think

Wow thats quiet a few cans of plasti that can get expensive quick.
I was also thinking of using some of the duplicolor bed armor & roll it on my box to give it the nice textured look but its not cheap but I guess one tub should cover a enclosure cause the whole kit is like 90 bucks but thats to cover a whole truck bed.
