Cool 2014 Flyweight Rebuild - My wife's 1999 Jeep Cherokee

2014 IASCA Flyweight Bassboxing rules changed to allow a second battery in the cargo area. Rebuild time.

Current Equipment:
-One Tantric Sounds HDD 15 d1 on a Sundown SAZ-3500Dv2
-Eight Sundown SA component mids on a Sundown SAX-125.4
-Eight Sundown SA component tweets on a CT Sounds 125.4
-One Singer 300a alt, two runs 0ga ofc, one g27 AGM and two g31 AGM batteries

Box is coming to 7.2 cubes gross so far.

A gallon of resin later... Yes that is a 3" baffle. Yes there will be interchangeable ports.

COMPETITOR CRITERIA
Open to all; competitors can be associated with, or employed in, or receive support from the mobile electronics industry.

VEHICLE CRITERIA
 OEM stock interior, except for speaker build outs, kick panels. All interior panels must be in place and properly mounted. Cosmetic modifications allowed (addition of full range speakers for sound quality purposes, painting of trim pieces, etc.).
 All vehicle features (e.g. windows, air bags, sunroofs, door handles, locks etc.) must work. All equipment in the vehicle designed by the manufacturer must function as the manufacturer intended them to; nothing may impede their proper operation. No convenience or safety features may be removed from the vehicle.
 OEM glass cannot be replaced with any substitute material.
 All subwoofers and enclosures must be mounted in the OEM cargo area* of the vehicle; walls not allowed (See Glossary of Terms)
 Panels or baffles designed to increase SPL, whether attached to the vehicle or enclosure, cannot be mounted in the vehicle interior. Supports, poles or braces are not allowed within the vehicle interior.
 Sound Deadening/Reinforcing - Sound deadening (or dampening) materials may be used behind or inside any factory OEM panels, so long as the factory panel remains intact, unaltered and in its original factory OEM location. There can be no external visible evidence of the sound deadening (pieces of sound deadening material sticking out from the panels). Competitors are not allowed to reinforce panels with anything other than sound deadening materials.

EQUIPMENT CRITERIA
 Speakers - The system must have a minimum of 50 square inches of full range speaker. Coax, component, horns or pro audio speakers are allowed.
 Batteries - Three (3) batteries allowed. One (1) battery must be mounted in the factory location and must fit within the parameters of the OEM battery tray. Other batteries may be mounted in the cargo area; no batteries allowed in interior compartment. Batteries must be properly mounted and secured.
 Battery size allowance - Each individual battery cannot exceed 1,000 cubic inches in size.
 Battery trays - Factory (OEM) battery trays are not allowed to be modified in any way to accommodate larger batteries.
 Alternator - One (1) alternator is allowed. Must be mounted in factory location.
 Voltage - Maximum voltage allowed is 15.5 volts.
 Wiring - Two (2) “runs” of power wire is allowed from the main battery to the amplifier/distribution block. The maximum size wiring allowed is 0 (1/0) gauge wire.
 Capacitors - Maximum 10 farads allowed* (see General Bass Boxing Rules #19)
 Amplifiers - There are no minimum or maximum requirements for amplifiers.
 All equipment must be commercially available and can not be modified in any

Replaced the one 105ah group31 in the back with two 140ah tall group31 (980 cuin each to stay within the 1000 cuin maximum for flyweight). Started welding a new battery rack and amp rack that will take up less room than a wooden one.
