Started on my new box today for my 15's, I made the biggest box I could and still have room for my amp. I still have access to fuel tank, strut towers and tail light bulbs. Ok so it's 10 cubes before any displacements. Common chamber with two 5 inch ports. Ive never built a box in the trunk so it did take some thinking. I've also never sealed off a trunk or used aero ports. All I have left is internal bracing, seal inside, add ports, carpet and mount subs. Still not sure what I want to tune it to, what do you guys think? I'll be pushing about 2000 watts rms.
That isnt enough port area for the enclosure size... that is less port area than my 2 12 setup. You should have twin 8's or a single 10 inch port for the enclosure size. You could smash a 10" circle into an oval but at that point you would almost be better off just doing a center rectangle port by just cutting out the baffle between the 2 ports you have currently and doing a slight redesign with bracing and/or double the baffle. I'm honestly not trying to be a d!ck but I feel like you will end up disappointed with the enclosure and will base your opinion of aeros from this build and shy away from them in future builds. You probably only have 3-4 inches of port per cube with this design and the general rule of thumb for aeros is 8-12 inches of port per cube. πR² for area of your aero. (π(2.5²))2 is 39.25ish for total port area for both ports. If the net is 8 cubes (could be close by the time you subtract all displacements) its still only about 5 inches of port per cube. The subs will basically react as if they are in a sealed enclosure and your output will suffer greatly. Its like trying to scream with your mouth shut and only letting the sound leave through your nose. 15's are really hard to fit in most trunks with a proper aero due to baffle dimensions not being wide enough. Feel free to pm me if you would like to talk more about this or any other build. Cuts look super clean and I don't think you could have gotten any more enclosure volume in that trunk without having a geometrical nightmare to assemble so you are on the right track for sure!!

Thanks guys, looks I have a little re designing to do lol. After looking at it and taking measurements there's no way I can change it to rectangle. Subs are too close together. Is the anyway I can do two square ports instead on circle? Make them longer for more port area?
You can probably scoot the subs over a little and do a rectangular port of 6inx15in that is 90sqin of port. Should be enough. Depending on your subs though. May not even need that much port. Or even a rectangle port in the middle connected by ends of a triangular port. If that makes sense. Would be difficult to find a picture of what I'm talking about lol
