Default 2002 Seville SLS build

For my first official build log I think I'll dive in with a current build my buddy and I are doing. Since my Tahoe build has been done for over a year and the rebuild isn't coming for a few months may as well show you guys what I'm up to.

Like the title says the car to be destroyed is a 2002 Cadillac Seville SLS with the 4.6 northstar V8.
This build will be progressive as time allows to work on it.

The equipment to be installed in this build goes as follows
Subs: 2 DC M2 XL 18s in dual 1.4 ohm impedence.
Alt: Mechman 320 Elite series
Sub Amp: DC 5.0k purchased from Massivespl.
Wiring: 3 pos and 3 neg Knu ofc 1/0
PAC integration system for the Alpine 148bt that will be running the show. And misc. Install parts that will be getting us to that point.
Subs will be walled in roughly 12 cubes (haven't hit that point yet but space is more than available) looking to smash some lows and an ungodly amount of port area to help this mouth breather keep up.

So I skipped the alternator install since it was such a pain in the ass pulling the radiator to get to the factory alt. But we did end up getting the Mechman 320 elite series alt installed on Saturday.

And then of course we gutted the thing to see just that we get to play with.

And then to top the Saturday off before the slurp started flowing too hard we stuck some copper in.

And that's what we have so far.
Can't wait to get it up and going.
We are definitely going to take our time getting built but hope to have some ish accomplished and playing in a couple weeks.

Mids and highs will be a progressive deal as well probably a few months away. Something to save and look forward to for the owner of the car. Probably will end up throwing a few pairs of coaxials in on a multichannel for the time being to try and keep up with the low end.

It did indeed. Yep my 99 Tahoe 5.7 takes oh maybe 20 minute max to swap alts. When I tied into this gem I wasn't aware the pain it would be just to do a simple alt swap. Very nice design Cadillac!

BTW for anyone with the question how this is my first build log since I've joined the forum a few years ago. Rest assured this is not my first build and or install by a long shot. I've just always been so driven to get the builds done in a timely manor and usually doing them by myself (a couple not) but usually the last thing on my mind is snapping a picture. Also thanks for looking and enjoy yourselves. I know I will.

Ya I got it started up tonight to check charging and it is charging well at 15.1 on a pretty under charged starting battery. I'll throw the charger on there once I get the crescendo batteries in that we will be using.
