Default BD5034 2002 Mustang GT Discussion

If you've got any questions / comments, put them in this thread. I set my build log as uninterrupted so that people can actually see the pictures without digging through 50 pages of comments. You can see the log itself here:

I smoke crack rocks.

Now that I've said that - I will be adding a whole ton of pictures sometime this upcoming week. Updates have been coming slowly, and I've added one G31 optima yellowtop and have another in the mail, and ran brand new RCA interconnects and speaker wire. I also added more deadening throughout the car.

I have a new front stage amplifier coming, and a stinger voltage gauge.

I also have a light dancer module and 60 LED lights + two cold cathode kits that are going to be installed soon. This car is going to light up the night sky.

I'm using a focal KRX3 component set - it's a three way with a 6.5" woofer, a 3" midrange and a tweeter

In the doors I have the 6.5" woofer mounted on 1/2" MDF plates and the doors are damped to all hell with clay, foam rubber weather stripping, and a layer of damplifier pro on top of that, then I just put luxury liner pro over it all lol.

I'm pretty sure I could detonate a stick of dynamite inside my door and nobody would hear it.

ugh. I relocated my epicenter to one of the rear seat wells today, and screwed my amp down into the back of my box. Little bits of work getting done as I find time - no pics yet.

so far so good bd, i like that you modified and incorporate a fixture for your l.e.d.'s, good way to keep it simple and clean

i absolutely agree with how crazy it was for you to build that box in-trunk, especially considering you that you didn't take the rear seat and seat-back out to just slide it in from the front,... but hey, things get looked over sometimes when individuals are anxious for sounds.
