Default Ford Ranger build log V.2

For anyone who was following my last build log, I sold my obsidian 15"s and Saz-1500v3 to a local buddy. Here they are loaded up and headed to their new home.

On to the new build. Here's a list of equipment.

2 Sundown X-15's D4
DD M3b
2 Juicebox blackcherry batteries.
1 Xs power D1200
Excessive amperage 300 amp Internally regulated Alt.
100' 2/0 welding cable
Soundstream 600.4
1 set of crescendo CZ 6.5 components.

Onto the pics.

Here are the 15's

These things are beast, surround is massive.

Onto the amp. DD M3b

Heres the alt.

Old vs. New

Here's the second Juicebox battery.

More to come.

Here's the box I picked up local that should have fit but it didn't. Too tall.

Subs wired up

Subs in the box.

No bud, Its actually just stood up. Its that temp box I was telling you about. I'm still wanting the center firing port.

Here is as far as we got the box in and decided to call it quits. Just wasn't going to happen and too much more fighting with it would have probably ripped my headliner.

Since that box didn't fit the guy that I sold my old 15s amp and box to was kind enough to swap boxes with me so I would have some music. Its a bit small at 7.4 cubes with 98 sqin of port. So not enough space or port area for these subs.

Dem surrounds tho

With all the room i don't have in the cab i decided to throw the amps and batteries in the bed of the truck.

Running the wires to the bed.

Down the frame and into the bed.

3" hole cut into the bed for the wires to run in. I need to get a seal or something to cover where the wires are touching the hole.

4 runs to the bed. 2 positive and 2 negitive. Plus a extra ground from the frame.

Amp rack started in the bed.

Wiring up the batteries and amps.

Need to order some split tech flex for the wires in that last pic.

Theres enough room between the two black cherries for one to fit perfectly. So i'll order another when they get back in stock.

As it sits now. Still gonna prob rhino line the wood to match the bed. Kinda not a good pic of the amp rack.
