Default 24Runner sleeper system...Lots of Fi Neo, DD, Focal

Been meaning to start posting on this forum, figured might as well just start and stop thinking about it.

Current ride is a 2001 Toyota 4Runner.

Ive been an Fi enthusiast since pretty much day one for me, the original BTL triple stack is what really got me into this bass lifestyle. Not to say i don't respect other brands and what they do, but for me, Fi is the only thing i want.

With that being said, I've been snatching up Fi unicorns whenever i can. Just to sit in my closet so i can stare at them until i build a box and get everything set up the way i want. Ive got no problem waiting to do something right the first time, I'm not one to rush things.

BUUUTTTTT, my good friend may be the complete opposite, so being a fellow Fi head and knowing what I'm hiding, when we went to our local audio store for some supplies and saw new Pro box's stacked to the roof, he was set on me having something to bump for the time being. Im not one to argue so 20 min later we get home and I'm throwing a quick temporary setup in.... Here we go

Some lovely packaging

"Sleeper"

And some random testing, gains not set and voltage is not....optimal lol
sealed, legal on the window

Honestly not bad for a prefab and a M3b at 1omh nominal. No deadener no nothing really. Ill see what can squeeze out of this box for the time being...

Fellow gen3 4runner guy... I haz 02 limited. Dig those wheels man, clean looking truck. The roof will start making a really really nasty noise around 27-25hz @ 149dbs or so. The sunroof has that little pop up diffuser, 2 screws and its out (takes care of the 38hz bad sound up front) then its good luck finding the other sounds...lol I have a ton of flex issues so if you are wanting to squeeze more dbs start at deadener is my suggestion.

haha yeah they are, on my first try i pretty much just picked put 4 completely different patterns and just going for it. Still turned out decent for my first try, and i definitely got the kinks out haha. I used outdoor pleather for my 2nd try and it for sure stuck way better, and is much more durable.

I definitely know what you're talking about when you say it starts to rattle apart below 27hz haha. Not so much from this system but prior to this i has another Fi N2 12 in a custom box tuned at like 32, and that thing got down to 20hz with ease and loved it. for 1 12 that thing was a monster. and sounded amazing, then some bitch ass punk stole it... sad day.

Ive got deadener on the way and more updates coming but i plan to try and squeeze all the extra dbs out i can haha
