Default Town Car Rebuild

Well I tried the SQ thing. It's just not for me. So I'm pulling the silver flute 8s out of the doors, Relocating my trunk and fuel door switches and doing 8 8''s in the front doors( 4 each) on two ppi BA1000.4s. Going to remove my midrange from it's pod on the A pillar and install a nice super tweeter. Going to leave the super tweeters and Sound qubed 6.5s in the rear deck for some type of rear fill. X8s are coming out of the trunk and being replaced with X 12s in a 4th order on the [email protected] till I can upgrade power

The struggle is real. It's hard to find a balance sometimes, especially when you hear a really good build and get inspired to switch things up a bit.

I just did a build for a buddy and that's what kick started the urge to go back lol. Heres my box design. Two x 12s 1.5 sealed 5.5 ported through the rear deck.

Post up a lot of pics of the build! This is another thread I will keep an eye on, look forward to updates.

I hope to start some sort of build in my 95 Town Car some time this year. Been working on fixing the engine codes to get the check engine light off and think I finally got that sorted; just wanted to get it running halfway decent before installing any stereo stuff. Still needs work, but is coming along.

What software are you using to do the renderings?

I saw the other build you did and figured it might have something to do with your new goals, lol. Looks like a solid design - get to building!

I will post up pics as always. Got the subs tonight. but I'm going to focus on the front stage first as after i build the box getting to the amps will be a chore.
