Default My 1991 chevy s10 build log. the ugly duckling

so got my cap have a bunch of stuff. need to start installing stuff. need a head unit, some rca's, batteries, alternator still. but have amps and so on.

heres the truck with the cap on it. gonna start installing stuff this week. the pillars are all mocked up with the 4 onkyo tweets per pillar. got my cdt 5.25 drivers. RD should be sending me my 8's here shortly.

2 rd 8's for midbass. one per door. then 5.25 in the dash, then tweets in the pillars. then 2 12 inch atomic ap/spl subs in the back for now.

I like the rims on the truck, but you gotta do something with that cap. No offense, but I always hated that style.

if the stereo fits the cap stays. plus i only paid $100 for it. so its a winner.

thats what im saying. as long as it does its job i could care less what it looks like. actually doesnt look to bad in person. im gonna finish off the inside and stuff. plus this is half the weight of a glass top. this i could pick up myself with little effort

so i caught a snag in things. i cant fit 8's in my kicks or my doors. cant fit 6.5's either. the windw crank will still hit 6 inch mids and the kick wont fit anything with the e brake where it is.

so im thinking im going to stick the 8's in the back with 4 more tweets in the b pillars. then the 8's behind the seas under the amps. then the 5.25 in the dash and the a pillar tweets.

any thoughts on this?
