Default Vifa, Mypre, MB Quart Active Install!!!!

Well thanks to the help of wettnudel's (Nick) I finally got my shit installed. He did an awesome job, just need to clean up the mids and what not, but onto the pics. System consist of:

JVC KD-AR8500 - 3 way active crossover, time alignment, 5v preouts, dsp, the works you would expect from a high end unit.

Vifa 1" Ceramic Textile tweeters, neo motor, flared

Mpyre 65M mids, neo motor, carbon fiber cone, big

MB Quart DSC4125 125x4 @ 4 ohms rms, really sexy amp with lots of features

Pics:

And a quick video, still needs more tuning, i am learning this headunit little by little lol.

Those mids need to be moved behind the panel, mounted direct to the door, not on the panel...

That system should sound great though.

yup,... he wanted them exposed, so i made up a cpl rings to mount to door itself behind the panel for proper backing, plus the speaker flange would not allow clearance from the surrounding panel to be mounted behind the grille,... trust me, if there was a way to get them behind the grilles w/o totally hacking up the panel, it would have been done,...

i shoulda took pics, eh juan?

edit: we also had to move them as far out from inside the door to allow clearance for the window to move up and down,... those mpyres are not shallow drivers!

Yeah, i brought my camera too lol, oh well, we know we did a good job and thats all that matters. Btw i used the graphic eq instead of the parametric, much much better. Still need to use time alignment to sweeten it up. But its definitely a learning process.

too bad you didnt have more time,.. but i was surprised at how quick it went considering the various clearance issues that we had to work around,... what was it, like 2 hours we spent doing this amongst all the b/s'n we did?... i wasnt really paying attention to the time

i really like your h/u, that thing is chock full of tweaking and options... but yeah, its all about your preference, and what you're happy with..

im glad youre satisfied with my effort,... im sure if mike didnt have a busy schedule like he does, he would have gotten you the same result, if not better,... i just wish i had more time to listen to it

The mounting ring fit next to it though, so why would the mid cause you to have to cut up the storage pocket?

Overall I understand, and you did a great job.
