so,... after a recent scare of having to part with it(reason behind the "no updates"), the stang stays,..

so far, this is the system breakdown,...

eclipse cd3100 running a full range signal off the front rca's fed into the kove aphex processor, then to an audiocontrol dqt for 1/3 octave eq adjustment, followed by an alpine era-g320 eq for signal monitoring and rear/front time alignment, both fr/rear outputs from the era wil go to the designated channels, a ppi omx 432 4-way active x/over for the fronts, and my orion 300crx for the rear stage, concentrating on the front stage b4 i get the rear set up...

amps being used so far(subject to change);
(1) orion 275sx for (2) phoenix gold zpm 130 5.25 mids running 75 watts per driver
(1) orion 275sx for tweets (still unsure of what im leaning towards)
(1) orion 2150sx for a nice pair of mid-bass drivers to run at 150 rms per driver (not purchased as of yet)
(1) orion (dei) d2400 for an adire audio mk4 12" d4 in a 6th order bandpass (thank you, sonic) backed off a bit to 650 rms

whatch guys think so far?

It may not be the loudest build on earth, but it'll be one using some nice OS gear. Definitely looking forward to hearing it this summer Nick.

nope, def not looking to be the loudest, but more or less looking for clarity with what i have available,.. dont get me wrong, it'll get pretty loud+low, but it wont be winning any 139db class without the second driver and spl enclosure,.. i have a rather high noise floor going with all the components integrated into it, and ill be doing what i can to combat it with proper grounding and emi/rfi buffing between the individual components

Sweet. I'll swing by and lend a hand whenever you need it Nick. This should be a very very nice clean install. I can't wait to hear a few SQ tracks on it. Now get to work! I know all about your secret stash in the drawers in your garage.

steve!!! there ya are!

yeah, im gonna need a hand installing the bandpass enclosure when it comes time due to it weighing nearly 150lbs+ (projected with plexi), just think back when we took out my bigger box which only weighs about 70(+/-)

gotta get the other car plated b4 i get to have the mustang home with me during the day to work on it and map out my signal chain, just wasnt really motivated to do anything with it if we were forced to part with it after the fact,...

btw, ive got 2 steel shelving units for ya if ya need some in yur garage, im trying to make room for 2 cars and a work area for all my big ish

Try loading ~150 through the passenger's door, then shoving it through a trunk opening... That's what we had to do with my box. It took 4 guys ~20-30 minutes to accomplish...

And I expect to see your nice stash of OS goodies on Monday when I'm up there...
