Its not too bad with the 2 batts in the back. I felt like my old mdf enclosure made it sag more than having the batts there. And thats why I choose lighter wood to prevent even more sagging once everything is in there

Got some more work done this past weekend. First my subs came in and oh myy
Pair of Zv4's Rev 2 with Nightshade coil and spiders. Triple tinsel leads and carbon fiber caps? Don't mind if I do!

Decided to keep the batteries in the spare tire well so hooked up all the wires and secured the batteries from moving around.

First got my leads prepped from my fuse block to the batteries. All 4/0, love how they fit so snuggly

Since each sub has its own chamber, I decided to wire each sub parallel and then have a lead from each one to connect to the amp. All Sky High 8awg speaker wire ftw, final load for the amp at 0.5ohm

How the box currently sits, will end up pushing it more towards the cabin and cleaning up all the mess that can be seen. Just couldn't wait to get her connected and playing!

Looking awesome.

Are you going to seal it from the trunk? I used huge shipping foam on the sides and gorilla tape on the top. I'd show you photos but the box is out atm since i'm wiring the front stage amp to the rear battery

Yea planning on sealing from the trunk. And will keep that in mind, I've heard shipping foam, pool noodles and thick foam cushion works so I'll see what I use haha. I'm thinking of using mdf as my walls and then sealing it with a type of foam material. Don't want to use foam spray tho and get everything messy!

I just used really tight wood panels in my Civic pressure fitted around the box and made sure there were no cracks in between them and by the time I wrapped the panels it was completely sealed from the trunk. Best part was tear down was simple and clean.
