Have you tried firing forward an sealing it off into the cabin?
That's what I intend to do here with this new box hoping it will help!

Its not too bad with the 2 batts in the back. I felt like my old mdf enclosure made it sag more than having the batts there. And thats why I choose lighter wood to prevent even more sagging once everything is in there
Are you going to seal it from the trunk? I used huge shipping foam on the sides and gorilla tape on the top. I'd show you photos but the box is out atm since i'm wiring the front stage amp to the rear battery
Yea planning on sealing from the trunk. And will keep that in mind, I've heard shipping foam, pool noodles and thick foam cushion works so I'll see what I use haha. I'm thinking of using mdf as my walls and then sealing it with a type of foam material. Don't want to use foam spray tho and get everything messy!
I just used really tight wood panels in my Civic pressure fitted around the box and made sure there were no cracks in between them and by the time I wrapped the panels it was completely sealed from the trunk. Best part was tear down was simple and clean.
