Default 04PeeJays Budget Build

First install ever, actually, first system ever.

HU - Pioneer DEH-P4000UB
Sub - 12" Sundown Audio SA-12 / 2.2ft^3 @ 36hz
Amp - Audioque 1200D
Mids and Highs - Stock
Electrical - Stock, all 4 gauge Knukonceptz Wiring

On to some pics. Don't have pics of the box build except of when I carpeted, which was taken with my blackberry.

Here's the box. I think it's solid for my first build, but I can't carpet the sides for crap, so I'll show you what looks good

Here's a pic of the baby, Sundown Audio SA-12

Seats removed, cleaned up a little. Amazed at the amount of change I found.

RCA's plugged in and remote wire connected

Power wire ran through, that was a tough spot to get to, geez.

Here's the ground wire, think it's a sufficient ground?

And here's a final shot of all the wires ran through.

Gotta wait for the amp, after that I should be done.

Not a lot of cool pics, but this is my first install and it's rather simple. I'll go bigger in the future.

looks good man i was waiting for your build log. As far as i can tell the ground looks good, you scrapped the paint away most people didnt do that on their first build and then couldnt figure out why their lights were dimming so bad or they were getting feedback or whining noises. Going through the firewall is the shittiest part of an install i think.

It's a 2004 F150 Reg Cab.

The part I'm very confused about though is, all the terminals that came with the knu amp kit, didn't include one big enough to fit over my battery terminals. Meaning my power wire hasn't been fused or even on the battery yet.

It got too dark, so the seats are just sitting there right now, I get to drive dads impala tomorrow.

it should fit. I know on my stock battery terminal there are bolts and I just put my power wire to that

Did you not connect it where I suggested? Or did it not fit their either? Also you might have an issue where you cut the vinyl for your power wire. It looks like its outside the seat bracket.

It didn't fit.

Yeah, I noticed that, but I'll reroute it tomorrow, the seats still aren't in, so it's all good. Just got a little dark on me.
