Default New system install.

This is my first ever system install. I know Sony isn't the best but it put's a smile on my face so that's all that matters. I've had people tell me they have never head Xplod's sound that good. Money was a option. Car is a 1997 Buick Riviera Supercharged.

Xplod 6x9 Mids/Highs

2 15" Xplod Woofers. 450rms. 1500w Max
Legacy 3 Farad Cap.
6 Gauge Wire.
2 Distrubution Blocks.
Blue Led's in Dash
Red Led's in Speaker Grill.

Nice first install man. I've seen worse. One word of advice though, don't out too much stock in the power numbers on the Sony products. Other than that, I bet it sounds good and the products all mesh nicely.

done right, sony won't sound half bad. i agree with indy on don't belive the numbers they have listed though. if i was you, in time i'd slowly start to replace part by part with some better stuff. you'd be impressed what some of the other brands can get you.

I love the Sony subwoofer cones. Clean as hell. Why not port the subs? I know most Sony's don't like ported or so says Sony.

No videos yet. I plan to try to make one very soon though. I was gonna port the subs but if was afraid on not having enough trunk space. Large car but small trunk lol. I've had it compared to 2 12" MTX Roadthunders and sounded as good or a little better. I've had it compared to my friends 2 12" Fusions and it defintly blew them away. Once I get some money agian, I plan on using fat mat, possibly upgrading amps, and definitly upgrading my head unit. But all in all, it slams very clean.
