Default Small Build: tc9 12" AP15001D

Alrighty so i finished up everything finally! after fedex loosing my damn amp and me not being able to decide w/o 'further a due'.....

right now my system consist's of:

HU: Kenwood KDC-X991
Wire: 1/0 welding cable w/big 3 done
Batts: Under construction lol
Components: CDT Audio COM-626 components
FS amp: Profile baja 840

Soon to be installed!

Sub: TC9 based custom driver.
Box: 2.75ft^3 @ 31hz. flushmount with light grey carpet. red and black port
Sub Amp: Audiopipe AB15001D

Ok now for some pics:

The Subwoofer BUILD!

Started out with a plain old Grey tc9 motor. has a hint of rust. was cleaned off with gun cleaner and sand paper. then painted red. basket was painted white.





now what softparts u ask?
D2 8 layer flatwound coil, two medium stiffness spiders with spacer, paper pulp cone with medium roll rubber surround, dual leads, large black aluminum dust cap. THANKS SCOTT!

you seem to have bad luck with shipping. Didn't you have trouble getting your e8s before

wheres the amps? they they are!


will make a vid tom. for now this fugger is still stiff as crap! GETS MEGA LOW STILL!

I am going to c how the amps keep up w/o the circulation of air underneath the box for now untill the hotter months get here. then i will be fabin up little fan bars to blow sum air once the amps reach a certain temperature (ask me how im going to do this ill have to kill you)

Sub forward port forward? Now I too have a ranger and have heard that isn't the way to go.

yup. believe me to my ear is alot louder than sub up port up bro. when testing and messing with my 48's sub and port foreword was louder than up/up to. i just dont know anyone with a TL around here

my dakota had 4 12's foward and port forward, the s-10 had 3 12's up and port up and both sound god dang loud as heck...
