Default TaylorFade's 4th order blowthrough.

Ooook, I've been wanting to do this build for a while now and it finally came together with a lot of help from F3M4. It was my idea, his design and a serious joint effort on the construction. We sure had some fun building this one (as you can see in the pics). Lol.

He didn't even tell me the specs on the box. Lol. He handed me cutsheets and we got to work. If you want specs or need a design, look him up.

On to the pics....

F3MA clowning with the port. It's the first thing we put together. Startin' small. Lol.

Comin together...

I insisted on it being shallow, so the subs ended up being ******* tight inside the box. So tight in fact that we couldn't use the gaskets. Hence the caulk. I know it's a little ghetto.

Ready to get buttoned up.

F3M4 left a calling card inside the box. Yes, that's a Coors light cap.

Oh yeah, it's finished.

Finsihing touch.

Continued....

Lol.

View from the cabin before we put the backseats back in.

Here's a tip... When you are doing a build and it starts raining; don't forget that you left your amp sitting on the picnic table after an hour of cats and dogs. But if you do, garbage bag full of rice overnight seems to work. Lmao!

It would be nice if I cleaned up some of that junk in the trunk. If I would leave a system in there for more than a week, I wouldn't have to carry around all that wire and tools.

Lol, most of you probably just scrolled down for this pic so here it is....

Many, many thanks to Walter for all his help, but I'm gonna router those port edges when you aren't looking. Lol.

It digs deep. It's still in the high 130's at 35hz or so. It gets resonanting like crazy up in the higher frequencies. At normal listening volume though, it peaks in the 30's and low 40's. It's really musical, which is good since this heavy sum'bicth is my daily box.

They're HDC3 10's. Thanks for all the positive feedback, guys. My new amp is on the way as we speak!! But I think that' a pretty respectable number for an amp everybody hates on.

I still say a normal box is better than any thing like that in a car or suv.

No T-line or bandpass...just ported correctly
