to explain there is a local boat shop that sells poly resin for really cheap and they didnt specify that i needed to bring my own container. so thats what they had around the shop to use to hold a gallon. (note 1st gallon they gave me was in a gallon can of resin *all used before he filled it for me*)

So it isnt weed killer and its actually marine grade poly resin. the green resin on the inside of the door panel is US Composites. NEVER USE BONDO BRAND RESIN. that junk is like jelly compared to this real grade resin..

got to doing the passenger side yesterday...and some body filler (evercoat z-grip) on the driver's side while the resin dried. Also brought out the dremel i bought 2 years ago to clear out the holes for the mids and tweeter. not too bad of placement and fit if you ask me. ESPECIALLY FOR MY FIRST SET OF DOORS.

everything looks good but i see 2 things you might want to work on next time.
1) try stretching that fleece better. i seen a couple wrinkles that coulda been stretched out with some more work.
2) trim the excess material before applying resin. Will help in the long run.

thanks but the wrinkles were as little as possible with the shape of the panel and what i wanted to put on it...plus i know a thing or 2 about body repair so these should be no problem with the filler.
