Default The start of a wagon build

Hey guys I've been working on a setup in a sleeper 88 Taurus Wagon.

I had it metered and did a 135.8 @57 hrtz peaked on
2 15" Kicker CVR's
Terrible prefab ported box 2.5 cu ft per chmb -building new box soon-
Kicker ZX200.2 -around 400 watts give or take-

As of today the 18th I am working on tons of things but I'm on a budget so don't expect a off the charts build nothing fancy here lol.

I ordered a Crunch GPV2000.1 Amp -will probably make around 1,500 watts on the volts I'll be feeding to it which is underrated however the subs need 500 rms each so it's good and for the price can't beat it .

I should have the amp tomorrow around 2 PM it's being shipped

Here's all I need to do.
-----

Seal my back hatch window and seal my hatch itself from air leaks

I got hooked up today by my man with 14 ft worth of Scosche 4 ga power wire, a 2 ft ground wire 4 ga, and like 8 ft of extra 4 ga wire from tsunami I was running this crappy 8 gauge wire so it's a bit of a difference.

pics uploaded later of the build g2g bbl

I'd like to see see what kind of changes you can make. Should definitely be able to get louder if you add some power and build a proper box for it. Get to work and get us some pics!

Wink

Sorry I had to dip out in the middle of typing last night had to go. I'm getting a my Crunch GPV 2000.1 Amp today should be alot better then the Kicker 200 watt.

I'm also going to get some new fuses and a new battery around 6 today so I can be bumpin and start tuning the gains, etc on the amp . Only did a 135.8 @57 hrtz before I'm 3xing the power from the amp alone then another batt should put me close to the 39.9 area.

Theres also a bit more of things to be done like sealing the back from all the air that's escaping and sound dampener, a new box that isn't prefab and a bunch of other things.

Now the best part of the build pics

As for the box I'm still discussing whether or not to do a regular portedd box or a 4th order like what mike singer has..but for my wagon everything is still in progress.

EDIT:When I try to upload picture's it says file "Upload or file Failed"

EDIT2:Now when I try it says

"Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing.
If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error."

Any help would be greatly appreciated so I can get some pics up thanks guys.

Update the amp came in the mail today I can hardly wait to hook it up my man bob barker hooked me up with almost a full amp kit by scosche 4 gauge. I was running 8 gauge no name wire with my kicker amp.

So now I'm running better wire and a better amp 200 watts each to approx 750 each this crunch amp is gonna slam these subs I hope lol.

I got the unpackage thing on video on my youtube channel youtube.com/Racerkid15 I was so psyched to get it today gonna hook it up soon

Only problem is pics won't upload still as I posted above..

And I need to get a fuse for the amp/power wire so might not have a bass vid till tomorrow. But this is a good step any help with the pic problem would be appreciated I'd like to show ya guys how it's looking atm thanks!!!

Yeah that's what they're rated with the volts I'm throwing at it I think it clamped at around 550 per channel -the way it's tuned atm- I still have some slack in the -level- and bass boost to turn it up but the subs won't like me much then I feel like just adding this amp made me hit low 40's already it's sooo much louder then it was before I'm very happy with the purchase I'll keep trying to get the pics up but I'm not having much luck.

I also noticed my starter is fried somehow.. it started... shut off.. hooked up amp.. and it won't even click now. lol so I had a batt charger running to keep my batt power up and going. with 1 problem fixed -power to subs-.. another problem comes along I feel like I'm not gaining any progress here. it's louder but what good does that do if it won't start ya know.

Nice lol. Things on my to do list for tomorrow..

1.Tune amp better test/tune

2.Find out why when I hooked up my amp my starter stopped working for no reason..

3.Attempt to seal off any air leaks I'm able to with Great Stuff .

4.Use Urethane to seal my window in.

5.Save up more money for door and rear Kicker KS600 6.5" Speakers.

That's all I have planned for tomorrow with the car being 22 years old I've noticed there are some rust holes that go STRAIGHT threw the car.. duct tape 1 side.. great stuff on the other let it dry.. problem solved lol. I should just duct tape the whole outside of my car and then great stuff the whole inside lmao.

I'll fill ya in on the progress monday and I'll try for pics again tomorrow but I'm still getting errors
