I've heard that, clamped 4800 out of this aqv2 was only reason asking, I heard their essentially around the same in power, but I ran into a 40.1 pretty new looking in box for 500, so I sold off my aq, just wanted to make sure I made the better choice^ lol I know I did brand wise.. just didn't know if the older ia40.1s were still pretty much 5k amps 4500 board I've heard, like the new ones? What did they do diff in the new 40.1s? I've heard a few say the older ones are better, but again I'm a rookie, so I'm just asking, and excuse me if this was the wrong place to post this, I'm new to caco but I am in Minnesota on Anton Millers Bassheads page, people always say no way you clamped that out of the aq^^ well we did with his clamps. lol. Thanks everyone!

Yea thats alot out of the aq they usually clamp 3800 tops.I heard the older 40.1 are more stable at lower impedance.anton had a 40.1 but i thinl he sold it to get 2 20.1's

yea he did at one point, but the aqv23500 has a 4300 board in them, which is why I was asking, should easily be able to get 4k+ at 1 ohm out of v2s depending on rise, but I know the v1s didn't have the 4300 board in them, I think that's why they added the dual 0g inputs stock on the v2

I have zero problems with people having a shop or other enthusiast do their build. But it's a little disrespectful they take credit for it and/or don't correct people when they assume the owner did the work. Happens all the time.

Hands down the 40.1 is better. Cleaner and moar powerful, just make sure you dont mount it where theres vibration unless its been repaired by db-r. For 500 bucks Ill take it. That cheap for those amps.
