Default PHD 12.1 & FB 6.1 Pro components

Good Morning everyone and Merry Christmas. I was just wanting to post here on the set up that i have had installed in my car and say a little something about it. If there is anyone else out there that can relate I would be very interested in hearing back from you with your reviews. I have always had what i would consider very high end SQL systems in all of my cars but have yet to really say that any of them even comes close to this one. I heard of these components by a company called PHD and so I got in touch with the only person as far as i know here in the US that is authorized by PHD to actually sell their products and his name is Mike Allen. We discussed everything from what I was looking for to just how loud I listen to my stereo when in the car and he suggested the FB 6.1 pro kit with the model 1.c TW series tweeters. I was running a set of the D/D Digital Designs 1508 sub woofers powered by the DD M1c mono amp. I got the components in and had a company over on the coast here in Cali do the install. The companies name is "Drive Customs" and I was very pleased with the way that it turned out. The PHD components sounded extremely crisp and smooth "true to the actual sound being reproduced" and the subs hit very hard and accurate. I was also running the front stage off of a Tru Technology S44 amp and it was really impressive to say the least. after awhile I was talking to Mike Allen again about the system and he suggested running one of PHD's subs and so I did. i purchased the sub and another amp by Tru Technology (S24) and once again took it back to Jay at Drive Customs. He re did the amp and removed the 2 DD 1508 subs and replaced then with the PHD 12.1 Sub in an enclosed box and all I can say is WOW what a huge difference in sound quality. Those PHD's took on a whole different sound and came to life in a whol;e different atmosphere not to mention the sub. It is an extremely musical sub and sounds frigging awesome. Mike Allen was so right on about the speakers that I purchased from him. I am not one who listens to my music at low volumes. on average i will have my system turned up to at least 30 on the volume scale out of a maximum volume of 35 and i am not getting any distortion what so ever. I am so grateful to Mike Allen for all of his assistance and help and honesty in the purchase of the gear from PHD and I have to admit that as far as I am concerned it is the best system that I have ever had. Also I will also like to state that Mike Allen was so big about doing what ever it took to make me feel comfortable and at ease with the PHD line and he bent over backwards to assure me that he would be there if anything at all was to happen. the speakers are just totally off of the hook in their sound reproduction and quality. My thanks also to PHD and their technology in the manufacture of the sub and components. Thanks Georgio. Now is their anyone else out there that has any experience with this line of stereo equipment that would like to agree with or disagree with my statement here. I would love to hear from you and thank you.

Great review. Mike Allen is a good man. I'm getting ready to post a review of my own concerning the newest model of AF Pro mids.
