I finally made the plunge and bought some sound deadener. I have never purchased any before because my last two cars cost less than $800 and I couldn't justify spending money on them. Well this time around I have a Lexus ES300 and currently I am running a t1000-BDCP at 4 ohms to 2 Punch HX2 12"s.
Now granted I don't have nearly as much vibration going on as most people on here, but I did have some trunk and rear deck rattle. I looked around and finally decided on SDS CLD tiles. Installation was super easy! No smells! With ~25% coverage I managed to attenuate most of the rattling! If I was going for full coverage I might
would go with some other brand that was slightly more cost effective, but with slightly planned partial coverage this stuff seemed to make quite a difference.
The customer service was great and super quick shipping. There's something to be said about the fact Don interacts with every single one of his customers even if its just for a shipping quote. I plan on going with SDS in the future for all my sound deadening needs!
