Alright guys, not really much of a review. Bought the unit just to have versatility of media in my DD. Nothing over the top special, everything you would expect from Alpine in a quality head unit and functions.
BUT, the real reason I am making this post... the USB feature on Alpine head units. Just letting everyone know that when formatting a USB drive, Windows 7 defaults to NTFS(more stable), BUT the Alpine units have a tough time reading it. It almost always will give you the "device error" message. Make sure when formatting a USB device that you plan to use on your Alpine head unit, you format it as FAT32. I have yet to have a reading problem with FAT32 format.
On the other hand, I have installed Pioneer USB units that read NTFS just fine, and I would highly recommend to stick with it, if your unit will read it!
That is all.
