yes this is a second thread. was told to submit here for others to be aware.
so back in may, i bought some of there nicer RCA 4 channel cables, thinking they'll be a little more sturdy and what not than the typical cheaper RCAs.
these were going to be running my highs, so i wanted clean signals, so i went with these guys:
Monster 304 XLN Audio Interconnect MPC I304 4C-4M - Audio cable - Male RCA to M RCA
monster 304 xln.
when i first got them, they sure did have some weight, and seemed pretty well made.
the cable itself felt sturdy, had no problems with it, but the RCA connecters are weird to say the least.
Theyre rather small, and FIT VERY SNUG on your RCA terminals.
i believe they became stretched out on my pioneer deck rcas inputs, and they were extremely easy to fit onto my amp.. hmm..
anyways, about 2 months after having them, 3/4 channels went out. 2 of them werent even being used for ive been waiting on MDF rings to install the rest of the speakers.
thick sturdy build quality
will never fall off your RCA jacks from vibration.
can screw on/off the rca jacks them self in you want.
pretty slick with their labeling (FR = front right, RR = rear right, etc.)
also color coats each one differently.
LIFTETIME warranty, theyre going to send me another pair free
sound better than my walmart RCAS. higher clarity.
if they're fitting too tight onto your rca inputs, you cant pull on the wire, the sleeve etc will start to come out, and the terminal heads are hard to grip on to.
they seem to stretch out after a while ( the rca heads)
they grip onto the terminals for their dear life.
seem pretty short lived already to have a short. 3 out of the 4 rcas..
overall, for the 40 some dollars i paid for them at the time, I'd much rather reccomend the Knukonceptz 4 channel rcas that are roughly 24-26 bucks.
the lifetime warranty is nice... but id rather just keep one pair.
even my cheapo walmart pair is still running no probs.
