That's pretty sweet. Nice work on the enclosure. Also, like the idea that you screwed your hatch shut. I've considered doing the same when the time goes to be uber over killed.

The bigazz bolts actually arent doing anything

Long story short, I tried bolting a piece of MDF to the hatch to see if it helped loading ? and to see if it would get louder. It didnt, it made it quieter and made the woofers get hotter faster so I took it off. Not wanting to leave the holes , I had to put the bolts back. Lol

It looks really stupid. Its whatever, that hatch is on its way out and Ill need another so no big deal. I wouldve welded the holes shut, but its fiberglass!!

I'm far from an expert but I would think some bondo and and sanding would patch it? Doesn't matter since its toast anyway.

I've been trying to figure out how to stop the hatch rattle on mine. It not flexing like yours is but it gets squirrelly. I deadened every piece of everything touching anywhere. Even took my hatch liner ndnthird break light off.

Yeah it would, but with how much my hatch is getting destroyed it would fall right off. Id have better luck with great stuff... which speaking of that, the whole hatch is filled with it. Made it pretty heavy actually.

By rattle, do you mean like a rattle that you can hear from your drivers seat while its playing? Even though mine is about to fall off, I cant hear anything in my drivers seat other than bass. No rattles/bad noises.

Mine squeaks driving around though.. its annoying as hell. Wrapping electrical/duct tape around the latch post will fix it for a little bit.. till the latch wears through the tape then I have to redo it.

Is your latch metal, or fiberglass? Mine being fiberglass might actually be helping me. Theres zero deadener on it, just stuffed with great stuff.

Nah its from outside. Taking my plastic out the trunk did wonders. My latch is metal which I think is the issue. I deadened it taped it deadened more always rubs thru it.its not a big deal just bugs me since I bitch so much about pansy stoplight/parking lot heroes and trunk rattles.

For using PNS I'm rather surprised with how much I don't hear rattles. Only got a few left to track down and I'm pretty sure its random pieces of metal and/or glass and such from me working on breaking stuff.

I don't think it helps with actual sound "deadening" but it sure made me a lot happier about my roof and everything sounding horrible. Gonna pull it soon and put real deadener in Now that I'm a bit more experience.
