danggg nice sub... i have a question, might sound stupid... but when wiring up that sub, how did u fit 2 wires into 1 terminal? I.E. Box --> VC #1 & VC#1 --> VC#2

I'm trying to figure out whats the best way to wire up my subs and it seems like i can only cram 2 12g. wires into the terminal and thats with a lot of effort...

Sorry for my ignorance lol

I like how Fi does things differently instead of relying on other companies designs to knockoff. They are legit.

The only stupid questions are the ones that aren't asked

Just strip the wires, cut like 1/2 the exposed strands off each wire, twist them together and stick them in.

There are 2 8ga. wires going to one termininal on the sub, but it's more like a total of 8ga when it goes in the hole.

Also most of the time 8ga speaker wire is overkill.

ohh okay, I always thought that if you strip the strands out, then you might as well use a smaller gauge wire. I'd like to put 10g wire but my terminals wouldnt let me but thank you for the input, I'll definately keep that in mind for next time!

Yeah, since you are cutting the wire down over a really small distance it doesn't make a difference.

As long as you have the full girth of the wire over the main distance you're good to go.

IMO, Scott at FI is one of the leading developers!! He doesnt just use "buildhouses" to build his stuff, he actually does it and that puts him ahead of the rest!!

I hear new baskets are going to be made from Fi. They will soon be doing everything in the US and in house.
