Default BC3500 @ 0.5, electrical and fuse rating?

I'm planning on running a BC3500 @ 0.5ohm. I'm going to use a XS power D3400 in the front, with a mechman 220A alternator.

Will one D3100 be enough in the rear or should I get two D2700 (not enough space for two D3100)?

And what fuse rating should I use @ 0.5ohm?

you will need more than the one batt.....put it this way the 3500 pulls 321a at full tilt at 1 ohm on 13.4v

a 3400 under hood and a 3100 in back with the mechman alt will be ok....xs power says the 3100 is good for 3k as secondary alone iirc.....i know they say a 3100 as a starting batt will hold 3k-4k no prob

That's what I though as well SacTownBully84. Hmm I think I'll go with a D2700 in the rear and if that's not enough, I'll add another one.

Stretch, you saying that the Bc3500 does 4300 @ 1 ohm / 13.4V?

Because in a mail from crescendo they told me that the BC3500 does about 4600 @ 0,5ohm, I reckon that's at 14V?

I guess I have the same question to. I plan on running the bc 3500 @ .5 ohm as well. My electrical consist of mechman 320 amp alt and 3 deka 9a31s. Is that enough electrical to supply the 3500 @ .5 ohm? I also have 2 runs of 0gauge + from the alt to the battery in the back and 1 run of 0 gauge - from alt to battery in back, and all grounds in the engine bay are 0 gauge as well. My car is a 06 chrysler 300 so the batteries are located in the trunk.

youll be fine with 1 d3100 in the back and the mechman alt. youll be lucky ever to see 1 ohm after rise. which is good not bad.

I ran my 3500 @ .5 for almost a year....270amp alt, d3100 under the hood and a d1200 by the amp. Voltage was just fine
I used a 150amp fuse

If you got away running a 150amp fuse then u were not pulling that much amperage meaning high box rise which is why you got away with just a small extra battery

For reference I run my bc 5500 at. 5ohm with rise to 1ohm. I drop to 13.2-13.4 full tilt at 2k after a couple minutes of bassin. Usually 12.9 at idle and I have 3g31s plus stock g34/78 dual alternator for 400amps at 2k
