Default How low can u cross the 8" mids?

How low can the 8" mids be crossed on 75w per mid....I MIGHT be able to fit the 8s in my rear doors so I'm considering them if I can play them down to about 60-80hz and get some of the 6.5 in my front doors for 120hz on up...opinions??

See I've never understood this. I've always liked a little rear fill because I like the sound to be "around" me.

For example, if I have 1000 Rms in mids and highs for the front, a single comp set in the back will satisfy me.

I have tested that amp about a bazillion times. I know what it does clean, clipped, dirty, loaded, unloaded, wired down, low voltage, good voltage, after it hot, while it's cool, on caps, on batts, where it protects, what's thermal limits are and just about anything else anyone would care to know about it.

But thanks for chiming in. Your opinion is duly noted.

whole point is to create a front stage... when u go to a concert are there speakers behind you or only infront of you? only infront (most of the time)

(nothing wrong with it, i just dont care for it at all)

I completely agree with the whole music up front thing but I've got a sedan so I'm not gonna not put speakers in the rear, which is why I was leaning towards a mid bass in the rear and a more mid range in the front doors

People always use that "concerts only have speakers in the front" argument. Never in my life have I seen a show that only had front speakers.

The midbass is very good and they're pretty loud as well. It helps that I have 2-8's per door too! Right now I'm using them for bass till I get my box for my subs!
