Not too much of a power output difference, the C1100.4 is capable of about 14 15% more clean power output at 2ohms per channel.

Class D full range can definitely produce a high enough clarity signal output to rival many Class A/Bs out there. Now the Class D full range amplifiers of yesteryear, when they were first released to the public was a different story. Many first generation full range Class D car amp models produced a highly colored signal from trying to compensate for variances in bandwidth and non linear response.
