So as i look at some post i see that the oramge crescendo plate on their bc amps is sometimes different colors, i was wondering if this is a customization from factory or is there is a way to remove it and paint it? My amp is a bc5500
On your amplifier, you want to remove the end plate on the power connection side. Then the 1 screw on the signal side that goes to the top bar. The bar will then slide out.
You can scuff and repaint it, you can vinyl wrap it or you can remove the anodized finish and sand and polish it out to a high shine.
The bitter after-taste of a poor quality job will last far longer than
the sweetness of that cheap price!
