Default symphony 1500.1 issues

A few months back I bought this used on here.

first thing I noticed was that the output seemed way too high, and that the output would sort of start cutting off when the volume was up high. (As if the amp has a built in clipping protection, if that makes sense - if it really does then sweet)

This was fixed when I unplugged/plugged stuff back in. But now it's just not as loud and still happens with a little higher volume.

now the issue is the output is cutting in and out randomly. Seems to be effected by bumps in the road.

all my wiring is legit and the amp is secure. My front stage never distorts or cuts out so I am limiting this to the amp or the lc-1.

Sub wiring is legit, both coils read the same.

Upon receiving the amp, I noticed the nuts on the tiffany rca's were loose. But the rca's them selves were fine.

I opened it up and noticed one of the rails was bent a little bit. I can't remember if it was more than one though, but I got the idea that it had been repaired or messed with.

I have the gain at half and it definitely isn't broken as it slaps when it's not malfunctioning.

what could this be? What should I do? Open to all suggestions and I will try anything.

Btw, impedance is 1 ohm. 1 12g wire to each terminal from the amp.

Open the amp and look at the connects for the rcas and speaker outputs to see if you can find loose solder.

I was unable to find anything that looked damaged, other than the bent wires/rail.

I upgraded the 4awg to 1/0

I have my batteries close so they were only a few feet. Only tested while parked but I'll take a drive tonight and see.

only thing I'm not sure about is the input swt button. Where should it be? Low or high.

also turned the gain up a tiny bit, turned up the sub sonic to 30 and low pass to about 70 or so. Seems about the same really.

Didn't make a difference at all. The lows sound a little better since I raised the sub sonic but that's about it.
