Default DC 9K

OK guys i need some help.

i have a pair of dc 9ks and im not sure what to do as far as batts

12v vs 16v batts?>...

i already have 2 alts on my truck . i can either go 12v batts and use both of my alts to charge or go with 16v batts and only use one alt to charge my 16v batts/ sub stage and the other one for my trucks 'stock electrical'

what would be\\work better for me ?....

i do not drive my truck daily

also i have 4 18'' rd super heavy weigths that are dual 1's

my plan was to wire a pair of subs to each amp for daily @ 1ohm

and strapp them @ .25 each for a total load of .5ohm for burps...

PROS AND CONS OF THE 12V AND 16V ??....

EDIT; BATTS WOULD BE xs power d3100's or d1600's/xp1000's
i need some HHEEELLPP

i say do the 16v and 12v for ur truck. im doig a 14v setup chrging at 16.8v max. single 200alt and 11 d1400. it does fine on both strp a 1ohm imo u be happier with the 16v. get like at least 10 batts. it will be fine on burpn at .25. i did that on one of my 9k with 4 batts. burped it a few times lol. i vote 12 and 16v.

i do drive my burban daily, at comps its charging at 16.2v and daily at 15.6 i have 2 DC 9.0k's and im running them at .4 ohms all day everyday although on the real low (like 20hz stuff i have to be easy on the gain knob or they will protect b/c the ohm load drops to almost .4 lol)
normally i tested mine and i usually see a rise to around 1ohm per amp

i have 14 XS Power D3400's and was running on 2 singeralternator 350amps, but now have 3 400+amp alts on the way!!!

good luck bro you will love those amps!
at 16.2v we clamped almost 11k off one amp

I wouldn't try it.
If they are like the 5K's..... .35 on 16 volt is do-able but a little picky. I do know they will burp .25 on 12 volts though.

As long as you have a good electrical system behind them they will do it, I have video proof lol look at my YouTube videos the 160.2 was a burp on a 43hz tone at 16.2 Volts... I just roll in fairly quick to resemble a straight burp, the previous owner of my 2 9ks was running them fairly hard lol 18v and .25ohm roll in burps strictly competition vehicle tho (I'm not completely forsure on that set up but rusty would know)
